Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso known as
Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born on October 25, 1881 in Maliga, Spain and died on April 8,1973 at the age of 91. He is known for his amazing styles of art. Picasso explored many styles throughout his painting career. He was a child prodigy in art and his earliest works had a classical, academic style. He painted more realistically during his Blue and Rose periods- which

was colored by painting in shades of blue and rose.

Later, Picasso experimented with cubism. In his cubist paintings he painted people and things as abstracted shapes-- circles, squares, and triangles. In addition to painting, Picasso experimented with other art forms like sculpturing. Unfortunately like many other artists during his time, Pablo Picasso was not appreciated. He was poor because people rarely bought his art. People thought his styles were ‘weird‘. Nowadays people appreciate Pablo’s talent. They can see the beauty within the oddly colored shapes. He was great because he experimented with new paints and canvases and it is sad that he could not live to the day where people treasure his paintings almost more than their life.
